Hello - my name is Cathy and I live in a beautiful coastal community in SE North Carolina called Hampstead. I received my first DSLR almost 1 1/2 years ago, and I instantly became hooked on shooting birds. I have a great husband, Sean, who I drag out of bed every weekend at sunrise to go bird hunting on our Carloina Skiff. Thankfully I've found this website a few weeks ago, have been reading all the constructive critiques, and my images have gotten better--but I still have much to learn.
It's nice to have you aboard. I actually just returned this past weekend from photographing the wild horses on your Outer Banks, and it was amazing. Seeing horses out on the beach and swimming was a real treat. We had to use a Skiff to photograph some of them. What a great way to get around the islands and find birds.
Glad to learn you are learning a lot and look forward to seeing some of your images.
