    Default Short-toed Lark

This bird is very rare in Holland and it was seen for a few days at the coast.

Meeno, good low perspective, and I like the complimentary colours between bird and BG. Although the strip of OOF FG is not ideal, I would probably leave it in, as if you removed it, there wouldnt be too much space left below the feet. The angle of the lark is not ideal. A perfect pose would be for the lark to be at least parallel to you, or angled slightly towards you. Please post your camera settings.

    Menno:

Critique well covered by Stuart. I do think you could shave a bit of the OOF foreground off and still maintain enough for the feet.

Congrats on capturing a rare bird for you!

    Cheers
