I was shooting yellow rumped warbler when this guy showed up for few seconds.. and then disappeared on the vegetation. Waited an additional hour, but it never showed up again.

    Canon 40D, 500mm, 500mm, 1.4TC, Flash (shooting from car)
    1/250s f6.3 700.0mm iso250 flash

Looking at the settings now, I should have increase the ISO and close down the aperture :(.
Branch oof clone out on the right side.

Nice find and pose. I wish for a bit more eye contact and the bird looks soft on my monitor.

I agree with Axel. The bird does look a bit soft, but you don't get much time to prepare for one like this. Nice overall job.

Nice use of diagonal lines on this one. Agree on the sharpness.

    Raul,
Very nice composition, and colors. Would like to see a little bit more head turn looking towards you on Mr. bird. Would also clone out the twig on the upper right quadrant...:D
