    Ken,
    Timing is everything and you nailed this. Great image. Did you do a burst and if so, how many? I just got a MK IV and love it.

    Pity the shadows but a well timed image. Nice take-off pose.

    Thanks for the comments, this was my first ever clear sighting of this bird and I am happy just to have something relatively reasonable, they are enormous in comparison to what we normally see in Africa (excluding the Ground Hornbill)

    I nearly always do a burst not to sure how many I did here
