Hello everyone. Well these beauties are finally starting to make their way back here. I found two the other day took a couple of shots. The following is one I liked due to the water color. C&C welcomed and encouraged.
Camera - Nikon 300s, Lense - Nikon 300 F4 w/1.7 tc, Exposure - 1/1250, Aperture - F8, ISO - 250, Metering - Spot, Aperture Priority.
Robert, well exposed on both the blacks and whites, and good choice of comp. The colours in the BG are nice, but find the loose branch behind the stilt a bit distracting.
Very nice detail and the BG is really beautiful. I don't mind the bird's forward-facing position and lack of eye contact -- there is enough detail and sense of dynamism in the image to overcome those deficits. But to my eye, that branch is too distracting.
