    Stuart, I liked the shooting angle and the stare. The bird appears a little soft though. If mine, I'd rotate CW a bit and brighten a bit as well.

    Ditto KD. The eyes look sharp but the body could use some selective sharpening (or, if you only sharpened the eyes then I'd recommend doing the whole subject). I like the vertical comp and alert pose.

    Those are some wonderful eyes. Great background as it brings out the owl, and I also agree on the suggestions already given. Other than that well done.

    Nice eye contact here but have to agree it look a tad soft. Not sure if its because of a lack in SS:2
