I can't believe how much time I spent on this! I used 3 textures and tried various Nik Color efex on different layers and changed opacity and blend modes a zillion times on many layers and I still wasn't happy with it. Then after combining all layers I ran Nik Color Efex glamour glow and that was it! Then I used some grunge and faux paint brushes to add a little more distressing.

Beautiful, Judy, the dark BG really gives the flower a nice glow. Well done!

Hi Judy, this is really beautiful. I like the focus on the flower. I was thinking reducing the saturation just a bit might enhance the vintage look, IMHO. Beautiful even otherwise.

    Nice image and application, Judy.

Like the colors and detail, while having the feel you were after.

Thanks guys! Indranil, I took your advice and desaturated it some and changed the hue on the greens a little.

Beautiful repost Judy. I like the dramatic look to this and the textures look great.

Beautiful work, Judy. The textures and dark look really enhance the flower's beauty. I like the subtle desaturation in the repost. Well done!

Judy, this is very elegant and well handled in your processing choices. Just a lovely image in color, contrast and subject!

Beautiful!!! Love the image and how you handled the post processing. Good persistence. I like both version, but the second does have more of a vintage look. I'd like to see the glow be a bit higher, so that it is only the flower that is highlighted. Really excellent work.
