Thanks Viv. Let me know if someone pulls out mate. We had such bad luck with the weather last month.

Hendri, terrific IQ and incoming pose with wing and tail spread. Loved the eye. The GC BG is excellent as always and you got some nice slanted lines in this BG. A little room all around will help IMO...include the landing spot if it is there close by.

    Thank you Dumay and Kaustubh.

The best lens to use there is actually a 500mm with a 1.3 crop body. This is almost full frame but I got more of it with the landing post included as it came in. All of them tight though.

OH Yes, this works so well. Great landing pose, sharp, and just love all the feather detail. A great GC BG too. Well captured mate. A place I still need to get to.

Fantastic bird and a great landing pose that really highlights its plumage. There's a little bit of noise in the wing feathers, but it doesn't detract from a great image!

Wicked pose and amazing feather detail! I am seeing a bit of a halo, notably around the bird's right wing.

    Hendri,

All I can say is wow wow wow. I would not add any space, as for a given print/image size, the bird would appear smaller. Wonderful feather detail.

Hendri this is smokin' What a stunning bird. The face, I've seen nothing like it before. I think I wish the bird had a little more space around it.
