A couple of hours in some Grey Box forest is always a fantastic way to spend lunchtime. The light was nice and even which meant shooting in any direction wasn't a problem so opportunities kept popping up. This Jacky Winter was one of two that kept perching and flitting about around me as I stalked Diamond Firetails so I had to give them some attention when the Finches flew the coop

very nice pose and BG, details look good too. is the neck area is neutral in real life bird? if so there is a slight magenta cast. I just wish for a nicer perch to go with this delicate bird

A real great shot!! The detail in the bird is superb and I really like the background. As far as the perch I really like it and the pose is great. Well done.
