Ken - nice comp and inquisitive look. Too bad the light was so harsh.

    Ken,

I like that you got him on the run - I assume these guys can run.

Try a reverse s-curve to soften the look of the light. IMO, a bit more room at the hind foot at the left would have been nice - a bit cramped as it is but not a deal breaker.

love the pose and sharpness here Ken, great setting too...

I agree on trying to tame the contrast and the harsh-looking light (what time of day was it, by the way?)

Thanks for the comments, I am happy with the contrast as is, as that is what it looked like.

Unfortunately I have no real room on LHS.

    It was taken around 17.30.

    Vivaldo and Dumay,

Daroji is a great place, but a lot depends on where you can get to, we were lucky in being able to join the film crew.

Never seen one of these before your images Ken. Shot depicts the subject nicely with movement and good eye contact. TFS.

    Pieter,

Thanks, I had only ever seen them running away before, this place is a wonderful discovery for which I can only thank one person Ajit Huilgol.

Some exceptional images of sloth bear Ken. I have to visit this place during my next visit to India.

You certainly should it is a little out of the way and neds some good planning, plus you can do some "culture" at nearby Hampi, although I have to say I preferred it as a ruin in 1974.
