Shame the wing is OOF slightly, some detail there would have been nice but the sharpness of the face makes up for that IMO. Good work

The stilts was so close that the wings ran out of DOF, it was almost at MFD, at these distance it is very difficult to get all parts of the bird sharp...I thought I'd share this because I had never been able to track a stilt so upclose and downwind at 900mm FOV it's a good workout at least

The OOF wing dont bother me at all. The exposure and sharp detail on the body and head makes this an excellent image.

Arash, too bad we could not meet. I did not manage any good flight shots at the Baylands....so I can appreciate this one a lot. Terrific AF work. excellent angle, light, details. A tad more room in front might make it better.

Great image Arash - background, lighting and pose look great. It would have been nice to have a bit more DOF, but I am not too concerned by it...

Congrats on tracking one so close...IQ looks good on the head and exp is great. OOF wing to me adds the impression of movement.
