Captured this prothonotary warble in the Atchafalaya NWR. I was able to get this warbler in close using an iPod with the BirdJam software. However, I was using a norther parula's song when he came in. Seems he was a bit territorial because he would drive away the parulas.

I reworked this image based on the feedback I received from other images I posted as well as the feedback posted on other photographers' images. C&C's welcome.

One sweet looking bird, Tim :)

I would go back on the saturation a bit. Congrats, nice composition!

And if it's OK with your ethics, get rid of the dry leaves on the lower right.

Very nice image. I agree about pulling back on the saturation and would also try to lighten up the overall image. Great capture!

Here is the image with the recommended changes except for the dead leaves. I'll have to work on it later. Do I need more desaturation? I'm not very good on judging saturation.

This is a fantastic photo! I would be very proud to have one like it. I love the way the branch frames the bird. The second version does looks more natural. Good work on keeping the bird sharp at 1/100 sec.
