From Bodie Ghost Town, where time stands still... I haven't been there for a few years, but really need to get up there and take more pictures. It's a great place for photographers and artists!

I used the Nik Silver Efex Pro "tintype" preset, added a couple of textures, a slight vignette, and did some layer balancing.

Beautiful composition and effect, Kerry. Nik Silver Efex really brings out the the charm of the old town store. Lovely color tone and details.

The perfect subject for this week's theme. The pp works really well with this image. It looks like an old, faded photo.

Great image, and good choice for the old photo treatment, Ken. Well done!

This is perfect, Kerry! Perfect aging and a perfect scene for it. Could you provide the links to the textures you used?

    Thanks for comments, much appreciated!

Christopher, the texture that looks like cracks in the paper is one that I got years ago and I can't find the original tutorial, but the other one is a Shadowhouse Creations texture called CosmicBang. It is one of the three on this page - HERE.
