    Default Great Black-backed Gull

Captured this fellow following our boat on a pelagic trip off the New Jersey shore in March. I liked the way his signature black back showed in the semi-dorsal view. C&C appreciated.

Love the diagonal in this image. Great eye contact and beautiful BG.

A very nice presentation Bill. I also like the semi dorsal view.

Good banking angle Bill, and I like the head turn and eye contact. The exposure on both whites and blacks look good, and the gull stands out so well against the sky.

I like the flight pose. Good comp with the wing entering the corner of the frame.

Love the diagonal line and the direct gaze of gull. No nits with this one,

    Bill,
Beautiful. I love images like this. Excellent exposure and the composition works well in this case.
