    Great pose, light and colours! Would sharpen a bit more and would prefer to see it as a vertical with more room top and bottom.

    Wonderful shot. Lovely light and I really like the pose. Great perch and detail. Well done.

    Agree it could do with just a tiny bit more sharpening. I don't mind the comp in this one, square format suits it pretty well IMO.

    Super pose Dave, and I like your BG. A touch of selective sharpening will work, and agree a vertical crop is needed here. In a perfect world, perched on the back part of the perch would have looked better.

    Lovely bird and a nice pose showing good catchlight in the eye. I tend to agree with a tad more sharpening.

    Hi Dave. Good to see you posting in Avian. I'm going to second Ofer's excellent suggestions. Also, I'd consider removing the back portion of the perch.
