    Experimented with some macro blurs indoors a little before sunset, with available window light and some pop-up flash. Slight rotation, crop, Topaz DeNoise, and some burning and dodging.

    7D, EF100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM, tripod

    Brendan, It looks like soft flags of color. I like the transparent look to the petals.

    Agree the transparent look is cool. I like how the blue shows through in some shadows. The combo of blur and firm edges is very appealing. Well done, Brendan!
