    Default Gray-tailed Tattler

    Caught this one working the rock pools. These guys should be heading north now to Siberia. This one looked quite plump: long trip!!

    7d, 500mm hand held, 1/1600 @ 4, 400iso. + 1/3 EV.

    Tom:

    Nice shooting angle, birds angle in frame, exposure.

    It needs some CW rotation to my eye, and I would probably try to get rid of most if not all of the tan band at the bottom. It is so out of focus that it doesn't add much for me.

    Thanks Randy, thought the oof foreground may get a mention. I'll also try that CW rotation.

    Repost looks good Tom. Good low angle of capture, and Im fine with space all round. Maybe some selective sharpening will bring out more detail.
