    Hi Stuart,
    Is this egret the one at Fort Desoto? I like the technical aspects of this shot but I wish the long tail feather was completely visible with a bit more room on the left.The BG is great and the foamy water is nice too.

    I like the situation and the pose but this seems too boxed in. As Gail said pitty about the tail feather. I do like the colour of this bird against the BG colours of the sea and waves. This a very nice looking bird though. TFS

    Stuart:

    Excellent shooting angle, birds angle in frame, background and foreground foam.

    Good points from Gail and Tom. I would give him more room if you have it, front and rear.

    He looks just a bit darker than the average reddish, so I might consider a very slight upward adjustment of the middle tones, but you were there, so get to make the final call.

    The patterns on the legs are very neat.
