    Got this amazing bird after a 3 yr search . Gave me a FF image . One thing about this particular individual was that it just loved clutter :)

    Camera : Canon 1D Mk III
    Lens : Canon 600mm f4 IS , 2X TC
    Aperture : f8
    Shutters : 1/400
    ISO : 2000
    Exp Comp. : + .33 EV

    Congratulations on getting an image after a long search! I like the colours of the trogon, sharpness and pose.

    yes.. i like too.. nice light ,pose.. and color... I think you should remove left side very soft brown line in front of image.

    Good one Rakesh. Sometimes we need to leave the image as it. Because that's the habitat you find this elusive bird in :)

    Lovely bird and I suspect these guys do not come out into the open that much. Good habitat shot and again this is a great looking bird. TFS

    bird is beautiful and nicely exposed a cleaner enviroment with fewer distractive elements is best but sometimes not an option

    First of all, well spotted. Focal length of 1200mm explains how difficult it might have been to see with naked eyes. Amazing details as well. Keep up the great work.

    Yes, trogons are elusive birds. Lovely warm morning light and colors on bird make this one very special for me. Impressively high ISO 2000...were you exposing to the right?
