Walking back to the car at the end of the day at Little Estero Lagoon Lots of good opportunities for sunset images Normally we are tired enough we don't care to stop Did place my tripod down long enough to make this one

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

Beautiful composition, the bright spot does over power the foreground, but what the heck.

    Alfred,

I like the FG, the water and the color of the sky. The sun in this case is distracting as the sky is such a wonderful color. I would recommend cloning the sun and clouds out and making the sky the same peach color.

    Hi Alred,
I'm not old (except to my sons at 43) but I am old shcool......... a soft grad, 3 stop, ND filter(4x6 singh ray, lee...etc) .....light/easy to handhold.........would have solved all above nits! Then apply your PS skills for minor tweaking...........we have a winner with limited effort! Only an (semi) old dog opinion,
    Roman

as you know I'm always partial to these type of shots. you can do the same fix suggested by norman by using fab's nik color efx pro software and use their nd grad filter setting....

i love it in color and it would make great B&W too :-)))
