This female surf scoter dived repeatedly, bring up clams often. It is a wonder to me that she could swallow whole and digest these things so quickly. How am I doing with noise and sharpness?

    Hi Wendell,
What a great pose and you caught it at just the right moment. It appears to be a bit over exposed on my monitor. I love the visible water droplets on feathers and the green water ripples.
I might crop a bit off the top.
    I don't see any noise.

great moment! It seems a bit warm to me. I don't see any noise. And since you asked about sharpness - it seems a tiny bit soft to me, but (and I may be wrong with this) I think this is focus more then sharpness.

Hello Wendell, I agree with Gail on the exposure and noise. As for sharpness, I feel it could be sharper so maybe another round... The image has a strong red cast to it. I would take a look at the raw file and see if you can cool the color temperature down a little. Nice composition on this one!
