    So now and then I try to do something different with the butterflies. Personally I think that the picture is better on big dimensions

    Hi Thijs. This is a different approach to "macro" and I like it a lot. The butterfly seems almost spotlighted and is clearly the focal point of the image, yet we also get a good feel for the environment in which the butterfly lives. I would suggest toning down the two small whitish spots in the LRC as they tend to draw my eye - a minor point. This is well done.

    Hey Thijs,
    Great advice by Steve on the spots.....caught my eye too. I really like that you took a fresh approach with this. The image reminds us that we should try different approaches......it forces us to step back to take a look around.......so for that alone you get a very well done!
