From Cape Coral Florida. I added a couple of textures and a white vignette.

Great aged look, Denise. Love the textures and vignette. If it were mine, I might remove the two grass stems behind the owl's head. I also think a little blurring of the owl's face would make it look a little more believable as an old photo. Well done.

These owls are such great little guys, and fun to photograph!

I like the aging process you used, leaving just a bit of color on the bird while keeping that intense look they have in their eyes. The vignette really adds to this.

    Denise,

Fantastic attempt at aging. This reminds me of an old black and white photo that wasn't fixed properly and is starting to deteriorate. Beautiful capture of the owl as well. Nicely done.

Thank you all for your comments. Christopher, I see your point regarding the two stems-funny they didn't stand out as much before the aging.

Denise, this is nicely aged. Love the eyes and that you masked back in much of the owl. Agree with Christopher on the two stems behind the owl's head. Very nice work!

Great looking image, Denise, and what intense eyes on the owl. Nice job on the aging, and like just a hint of color on the owl.

Denise, good eye level contact from the little guy, and love the way you have transformed this. Another vote for removing the two stems behind the head.

Nice aging effects and textures on the owl Denise! I love your original capture too since owls are one of my favorite birds but I rarely see them.
