Rather than make a recent photo look old… I refreshed an old one.
This is an image from my first roll of film through a box brownie camera. It was 1962 and I was 10, so I think this qualifies as an "old" photo.
Scanned the B&W negative and did a marathon dust removal. Cropped and added the Piper J3 Cub coloration and Dad's standard green work clothes in LR (nice masking feature) and some unsharp mask in CS5.
My Mom, Dad and I used to fit in this "2-seater" for the 40 mile flight to the cabin. No roads.

    All C&C welcome.

Steve, this is fabulous. Wonderful addition of the colors too. I'd say it qualifies as an old image - heck it is older than me

Nice to see a real old photo for "old photo" week, Steve. Looks great. I like the added colorization. Well done.

Steve, excellent idea to use a real old photo. Your hard work is apparent on this one - it looks really good! I love the hand-colored look and the real glimpse into the past. Nicely done!
