    The subject is well lit in some gorgeous light and nicely composed within the frame.

    Is this image cropped or FF Vivaldo?

    Cheers Vivaldo, having viewed it again, I do think the FG/BG really isolates the subject well and the HA & sidelight is spot on.

    Absolutely stunning. Love the dof, lighting, pose and image quality. All the elements of the background have melted into a rich layer to showcase the lion. Love it.

    I will not go over the top as you have posted many fine images and this is certainly one of them.

    Great light and pose, grass was very kind to you.

    Vivaldo,

    Besides all the other reasons mentioned above on why this image works so well is the fact the FG grasses dip so nicely below the face to reveal it and then grow taller towards the back-end of the lion following its contours so well.

    Wonderful lion image here Vivaldo, I really like that you can just make out the black tail tip through the grass behind him...and agree with all the positive comments above. Brilliantly done
