Taken in Israel a few years ago, right at sunrise. I enjoy re-processing old images with better Photoshop and knowledge.

When I first saw the title I had thought you had spelt Black Falcon wrong. I have never heard of ths species.

Nice image and engaging - I wonder if a tad of sharpening to the eye area would help? Nice clean background and the colours of the bird are quite something. I like how the bird is perched on the edge of the perch - gives a sense that it is about to spring into action.

Do you use your hide a lot here in Aus?

Wonderful light and perfect exposure Ofer.

Was the background really saturated this green?

To me, a bit more room might help here but it is a stunner as is.

    Thanks for your comments guys!
The green at the BG is caused by the beautiful fresh green grass of early spring. No blurring or noise reduction applied.

    A very nice image.

But I agree with the suggestion above to sharpen the eye a bit, and I would also add a little more space above the bird if possible.

Lovely pose and gorgeous green BG. Another vote for some selective sharpening of the head. The old 2x doesn't do nearly as well wide open as the 2x III IMO.
