    Another image from my morning at Ft Desoto, I am always amazed by how accepting wildlife can become when they do not sense a threat on several occasions while fishing in the lagoon this guy came within touching distance of me as a quietly kneeled in the water of course if a birder would have saw that they would have yelled at me for getting to close

    40D, 500 f/4, 1/2000 at f/5.6, Manual Mode, Evaluative Metered + 1 1/3 (confirmed with histogram then just fired away), Raw, ISO 640, Tripod, Cropped and cleaned up the water with some cloning

    Very nice, I like the pose, it's different and interesting, I like the framing as well.

    Good 'umbrella' wing position, and I like the attentive head turn. Excellent perspective here, and the one legged stance puts this over the top.
