Cattle Egret carrying nesting material. This is a full frame shot. I'd be interested to hear cropping suggestions. I like the flowers behind the bird but that leaves the bird centered. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hi Allan, Like the just taken off pose and the flowers, overall I think the image needs a bit more contrast and wish the Egret was not flying away from you

As for cropping I might take a little off the bottom and left. You may be able to work with levels and selective color adjustments to make the image "pop" a little more.

Could always add to the right. I agree with the more contrast and I like the flowers in it too.

Allen, your repost has sorted out the LHS, but would still take a bit off the bottom. Good exposure on the whites, and the image has improved with your rework of levels and saturation. The nesting material adds interest.

I like the setting and take-off pose, but too bad the head is angling away from you at time of image capture. I like Chris' suggestion of adding canvas (if you do that type of post-processing)...but in any case the vertical stem just skimming the left edge needs to go - either by slight cropping or by cloning (or other elimination tool of choice). I don't mind the colours and contrast on the original post.
