This is an image I'd worked on for the last old photo week but didn't post. I did several textures including Shadowhouse and from this Flickr website. This is a cattle operation on Orange Lake near my home.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Cheryl, I like the text at the bottom, it really adds to the feel. You did a great job w/ the textures and this really does look like an old photo. If it were mine I might try to off- center the building and loose a little of the foreground since the building seems a bit centered but I imagine an old photo would look like that.

Hi Cheryl, great old-timey feel and look you got. I really like the textures and the edges of the frame. I think Denise has a good point about the comp, and I think you could either crop from the bottom or the top to un-center the building vertically. Just playing with it by moving the window around on my computer, I can't tell which I like better.

Thanks for the suggestion Denise, Kerry and Indranil. Here's a cropped version. I didn't want to lose the clouds or the tree and shed on the right side so that left the bottom

Cheryl, you transformed this to an old photo beautifully. I prefer the repost with some of the bottom cropped off. Very nice work!

This is really great, Cheryl! Love the tone and textures you used. You have a subject that really lends itself to that "old time" feel. One thing you may want to do to keep that turn of the century feel... is to clone out the power line on the right side. Awesome job!

Cheryl, real great old timey feel to this. Love the textures, color toning, and grainy look. Taking some off the bottom improved it 100%. Well done!
