    Default Stonechat

    The stonechats are done with breeding and now it's time to feed. Took a lot of time with observation before I could sit there and take pictures.

    Thijs, I like these type of images - super pose in the open, and perched on foliage. Light and exposure look good, as does the BG, and of course his catch a bonus. I would maybe crop up from the bottom a bit, to try and rid some of the OOF FG, and maybe a touch off the top too.

    Thijs:

    Like the composition, with the leading line of the vegetation from the left.
    Really like the little flip of vegetation behind the tail.
    Prey item, catchlight, BG, all good.

    I could see a sliver off the bottom. I am usually pretty sensitive to OOF foreground stuff, but this one doesn't bother me much.

    If you wanted the bird to display larger, a bit of a crop from the left could work as well.
