I can't remember all I did to this image--several Topaz filters to bring out details, applied 3 textures by SkeletalMess, other adjustments.

    Critiques for improvement welcome.

    Anita,

Wonderful effects... it looks as though the image is printed on metal and has been left in the elements, aging for a while.

Very intense... kind of a scary gaze from the pigs. I like the composition. Well done.

Anita this is wonderful! I really like your choice of textures and the base image is great! I might tone down the one brightest area in the background if it were mine. I just love the piglets face!!

Wonderful composition, Anita. I love the perspective and the gaze. The color tones and texture makes it so much more interesting. Excellent processing.

Wonderful work all around, Anita. The detail on the pigs is great and the textures very appealing.

What a great capture and composition, Anita. Cute looking pigs, great POV, and like how they are looking right at you. Very nice processing and texture work, it almost has a kind of Norman Rockwell feel to it. Like the texture on the edges, nicely done!

Anita, while the processing is very nice, what makes the image for me is the somewhat intense look on the adult, contrasted against the inquisitive innocence of the piglet. TFS.

Anita, what a great subject and something really different! I love it! I immediately thought of "Babe" when I saw the little piglet. Super job with the filters and I agree with Richard about the aged metallic look - like the old metal signs people would have on the walls of their barns. (Yep, I was an Indiana farm boy in a former life!)

Anita, great use of filters. I really like the aged metallic look and the "in your face" perspective works well. I'm in love with the piglet

Great work, Anita! I love the "in your face" look to the pigs, and the colors and texture work are stunning.
