Brown Falcon (Falco berigora)

Not often you see this species hiding in the coastal saltbush plants. They are normally on a dead limb or even on the ground. The colours were a bit of a challenge to get right on this one as the sun was quite low and the ambient light was affecting things a little. Let me know if the colours look OK to you

Agree that you do not see this very often. Ofer's right about too much foreground - nice image though and I don't mind the colours as they tell me that this is taken with a low sun -even if you had not mentioned it.
