Nice! I like the colored BG much better than the "high-key" BGs...nice head angle and pose too.
Dark areas have some noise left...

Very nice portrait, Jim. I like your comp, and also the perfect look-back pose. Very sharp for the low SS...great technique with the beanbag.

    Naaah...that's bird dander :)

Some days I love high key images but I always love nice smooth colored BG's.

Also...already printed this one up for a friend and the noise dissapears on Velvet Fine Art....all depends on what / if you're going to do anything with the image I guess.

Jim noise will not show in a print but shows on the screen which is what everybody is looking at

too much sharpening is often the cause for noise...

I like the pose and the soft BG...nice detail and agree with Arash on the noise which also becomes visible when trying to lighten in PP and like Arash said when sharpening a touch much>>>>TFS Jim

Jim, nice pose on a diagonal perch, and I like the soft light. Good feather detail captured too. Im glad you can squeeze in a couple of shots on the way to work. Its still dark at 6.00am on my way to work these days, as its coming into winter.

Hi Jim. A beautiful pose with good overall sharpness, in soft light. I like the diagonal perch and the background is outstanding. Well done.
