    Least Sandpiper?

I thought this was a Semi-palmated sandpiper, but the length and curvature of the bill is throwing me.

EDIT: I should note these were captured in April at Ft. DeSoto, Florida.

    Cheers and thanks!

Hi David. The first bird looks like a Least Sandpiper to me (yellow legs) and the second one looks like a Dunlin with a bit of breeding plumage starting to show in the form of the dark spots on the breast/belly. The bill curve and shape are spot on for Dunlin.

Many thanks Dan. Dunlin was my first choice for the second image, but I needed some other informed opinions. :) Cheers!
