Image from Feb trip to Florida earlier this year. A little Blue from Little Estero lagoon. Wading through the sludge, yes I could have got even lower but I wanted that amazing blue in the background.

    Comments and critique welcomed. Thanks.

Oh wow Stu, I love this one. So many aspects of this image are spot on from the low angle, beautiful light, reflections on the bird, head angle, sharpness, I could go on. I think the image needs a slight CW rotation, and for the wall, I would remove that weird green blob in the water below the bird's neck.

Very nice Stu! My only suggestions would be a tad more saturation on the bird to bring out those lovely colors and a slight crop from the bottom. I don't feel that the reflection is strong enough to justify including it and the bird feels too centered vertically. A tad close to the end of the tail on the right... Sweet image!

Thanks for the help on this one. sorry I haven't been back sooner, been away for a week shooting some landscapes!

After you mentioned it I agree about losing the reflection and with the slight rotation.

thanks for taking the time to reply.

    kind regards.
    Stu.
