And a very pretty owl it is. It perched very nicely for you, and I like the piercing yellow eyes. On my monitor the owl looks too light and would benefit from some toning down. BG provides some nice colours, but kinda wish the foliage was further away to have it blurred more. Nice image overall.

Great pose from this little guy and considering they like being in between the foliage...I would say this was pretty out in the open! So foliage does not bother me too much as there is nice seperation..like Daniels suggestion about brightness...Nicely done here Pieter!
Great sighting Pieter, and good eye contact. The little guy seems to have fairly large feet for his size, and Im ok with the separation of the foliage.
