I'm not familiar with this beautiful bird but really like the image. I like the placement of the bird in the frame and the complimentary background color which makes the sparrow pop.

    Nicely done.

Nice-looking bird, good pose with a perfect HA. The foliage is particularly vibrant - did you boost the saturation on it? Comp is good but a bit too tight IMO. Since this guy is seemingly not feeding I find the dirty bill too bad (I'd like it more if obvious feeding was going on).

Great work, agree that its a little tight and could do with some more space. Light is perfect and the face/head is sharp as a tack. Just be careful with those intermediate ISO values on that camera. They are implemented a bit strangely and can sometimes produce more noise than the full stop ISO values like 200, 400, 800 etc. No noise to speak of in this image though

loverly bird, pose, HA, and Sharpness. Yes to a bit more room, a bit lighter, and a bit less SAT.

Thanks. yes I boosted the saturation, because primary color rendering of this Sigma lens is not fine for me.

I too like the more subdued colors.
