    Sarah:

Certainly fits the theme well. Nice display of here varied colors, like seeing the foot. Was the wind ruffling her feathers?

A lower shooting angle if possible would be nice.

I might consider putting a very thin dark frame around this one to help it stand out from the background.

I might also try a version with a small crop down from the top.

What type of post processing work did you do?

    Thanks for sharing her.

    Cheers

    Randy

The high key has worked well here. Nice details and I like the puffed up feathers.

Hi key in this is stunning. I too would like to see a lower angle , but I also know that sometimes it just isn't an option. Like this alot.

Sarah, the colours stand out very well from the high key. The ruffled feathers add interest, and I actually like the space on top. I do agree a lower angle would have been first prize.

Very well done. i like how you have left a nice bit of reflection and water in the photo.

I second the idea of a thin frame.

Ruffled feathers add some interest as well.

High Key nice here. I also would prefer a tighter crop and perhaps a slight clockwise rotation.

Lovely high key image Sarah. I like the comp as is and also like the way you have maintained the colours.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. In answer to Randy's question about processing, I increased the mid tone contrast in Lightroom and brought up the dull gray of the water in Photoshop more of a high key effect.
I agree about the lower angle, but I just couldn't figure out how to get it without spooking the duck.
