Default Cheetah Cub - Duo Tone

Have not had a chance to go to Africa yet, but a few months ago I had the chance to get some shots of this cheetah cub at the animal park. Converted to B&W except for eyes, boosted small details in Topaz Details to give it a kind of pencil illustration look, masked off eyes & nose and applied PB oil, then added sepia tone. Not sure maybe this is more a mono-tone?

Brendan, I like the high-key BG and the filtering looks cool on the fur. Great looking subject. I might try to clean up the catch lights just a hair if it were mine. Very well done.

That fur texture is amazing, Brendan! Wow...it jumps right out at you! I think this is closer to a monotone but you can see a hint of color in their. Either way, it's scrumptous! Makes you want to reach right in and rub his face...

Hi Brendan, nice filtering on this cute Cheetah cub! Love the high-key look and agree with Denise on the catchlights.

Brendan, I like it! Mono, Duo, split-O - whatever - it's nice. I love the PB effect on the coat.

Very nice image, Brendan. Those eyes just melt your heart. I love the filtering, the texture it gives to the fur is just awesome! The toning looks great. Well done!

The colors are beautiful and the effect on the fur really sets it off perfectly!
