    The spray of flowers behind the crossbill adds a lovely backdop. Having the head of the crossbill facing toward the viewer would have been a big addition, plus some cropping from the top.

    Hi Arsdel. Nancy makes some good points above. You might also try increasing the contrast to give the flowers more pop and try blurring the OOF light branches in the background a little more so that they are less distracting. IMO, having the bird's head turned away from us detracts from an otherwise potentially very strong image.

    Lovely perch. Just needs that eye contact to make the viewer connection.

    I don't mind a bit off the top but for me not much.
