Excellent panning here Grant , love the motion blur on BG and sharp where matters , Not sure about colors as I have never seen wild dog but looks tad over saturated yellows. But this should be very easy fix , Top class

Very nice pan blur Grant. You've integrated the extra canvas seamlessly so I'd say your pp skills are pretty well honed. I like the intense, focussed look on the wild dog's eye, a dog on a mission. Very illustrative image.

Glad you revisited the old file Grant, nicely reworked. Panning worked well.

I can see what Harshad means, and yes, it certainly looks quite punchy with the yellow, but then perhaps that is part & parcel of the image & treatment on this one. If you were to drop the 'saturated colours' then perhaps the subject would get lost within the more 'muted' BG colours and not have the punch the image conveys?

Thanks for looking and commenting Harshad, Hilary, Steve, Rachel, Ofer and Dumay. Harshad, the yellow may be a little bit on the bright side, about the same amount as your green leaves two days back on your second last tiger shot
Dumay, it made it onto the cover of the Wilderness Safaris book which came out last year.
Hilary the dog was on a mission, trying to relocate the rest of the pack. I was lucky with this shot and have not managed to replicate it, even after three years of effort
Steve, I did add an extra dose of contrast to the dogs coat, as you noted, in order to break it out of the BG...

Hi Grant , Nice image love the panned blur with great detail in the head, too many panned images IMHO are completely blurred. Also like the colour treatment. Congrats on the cover , deserves it.

An excellent image and a nice example for panning. Loved the tone here.
