Dave, just love the colours of the warbler, they stand out so well against the high key BG. Good angle and placement in the frame, and I actually like the OOF foliage LRC.

Nice eye contact and overall feel. Would crop tighter and darken it.

Dave, very nice. I loved the OOF cattails and you positioned yourself very nice to place them to create balance. Subject placement is excellent. Well seen and composed.

Like Ofer said, I'd also try playing with the exposure a bit.

Handsome image, Dave. Has the feeling of an art print. Good comments above. I, too, like the inclusion of the cattails. Well done.

Tonality looks perfect on my calibrated monitor. One of the points of this image is the loose crop with the cattails playing a big role- you would lose this if you cropped tighter. Great pose and HA and nice habitat. Myrtle Warblers love wet habitats especially on migration.

Thanks Guys for the comments and suggestions. They are always helpful. It seemed a natural for an Oriental water color kind of look.

John there are a ton of these little fellows around right now.

Hi Dave. You captured a nice pose with good sharpness and the high-key background makes for an interesting effect. The comp works well as presented, but as an alternative, I'd be tempted to remove all the other stems and crop it as a tall, slender vertical. Well done.
