Shot this in France a few years back. Looking forward to this years trip. Used PB for the main adjustment and others to bring up the sharpening and detail

I love the PB effect, works well here! Beautiful scene and colors. I'd love to see that part of the world.

Wow. Beautiful scene! The colors are rich and wonderful. Love how everything works together to lead you right to the abbey.

Sweet image Dave! Love those leading lines and the rolling landscape. Great use of the filters! So cool to have you posting here!

Lovely work, ditto on what Kerry said, my Wife and I will be in Nice, in August, only 3 hours from home villiage in Italy but we'll spend a few days on the Azur Coast. Love the wine, breads, cheese...great place.

Dave, The base image is sweet, I like the effect. Nice use of the rows to draw you into the scene. It must have been gorgeous to see in person!

Thanks everyone! Paul, I was in Nice on the last trip. The old city section offers alot of photo opportunities. My advice is to shoot before the tourists start roaming...

Dave, I really like the filters you used. What a beautiful scene - my goal is to live in Italy for at least several months. (And visit Provence of course.)

I can truly smell that lavendar! Who wouldn't love this? The bright colors and the way the scene is set up...awesome!

Beautiful landscape image, Dave, love the colors and great texture. PB oil was a great choice for this composition and just the right touch with the application. Well done!
