I split-toned this in Lightroom and then I used Pixel Bender oil paint and Topaz Adjust.

Super job Judy! Awesome sunset, beautiful colors and textures. Very nicely done.

This is gorgeous, Judy. Would almost like to see a bit of detail in the trees/land. But this is beautiful.

I have no clue on what split-toning is, or how to do it. Is there an explanation/tutorial out there somewhere?

    Thanks!

Judy, I really like the colors and the filtering. The off centered sun and the clouds make this special!

Cheryl, Split toning is when you tint the highlights one color and the shadows another -usually using opposite colors. Lightroom has a module for it and makes split-toning easier.

Thanks everyone! I have split-toned sunsets in the past and I will no doubt post more this week since they are one of my favorite subjects to photograph.

Judy the sunset is gorgeous but it's that fire on the water that puts it over the top for me. The treatment adds great interest and texture to the water...really beautiful!

Another knock-out sunset, Judy. Just the right touch with the filters to create a wonderful compostion!
