I had a little cluster of warblers pass through my woods this weekend. It finally wasn't pouring down rain and the birds were very happy. Warblers are so inquisitive, this one hovered around me for about 20 minutes.

    Janet:

    He does look quite inquisitive!

The shadow work helped, but the lighting makes it tough to show this fellow to his best advantage.
With the light angle you had to work with, fill flash def. would have helped.

From a compositional standpoint, he is rather centered, but the leaves/twigs make moving him more off center a bit of a challenge, but I would certainly try to alternative crops.

Certainly worth doing a set up where you can control the light angle a perch!

    Cheers
