    Default Dutch Marsh Harrier

I have not had the chance to post much recently, but at least had the chance to head to the dutch island of Texel a few weeks ago for four great days. I had some good opportunities with avocets and terns, but here is a marsh harrier first that had just picked up a frog.

The only down side of the trip was the shutter on one of my cameras failed, and I am still waiting to get it back.

Thanks in advance for any c&c.

Super pose, colours and a great flight angle.

Thanks all. I will tone down the sharpening on the head a bit.

Nice crisp image and OOF BG. I'm not sure about the brilliant yellow stripe. It certainly adds color and interest, but it feels distracting versus the main subject. Perhaps a saturation reduction of the yellow stripe?

It has been a while since this thread, but I though as I just reprocessed the image I would post it anyway.
