    Default Split-toned Succulent

I like the split-tone effect a lot but haven't done much of it so I'm liking this theme already! This is a succulent flower from my front yard. I thought it would make a good subject for this treatment. Made "from scratch" in CS5 - converted to b&w, then adjusted h/s differently for highlights and shadows. Added a blur vignette and, wait for it...Topaz Clean!

Nice one Kerry, I like the effect. The blur vignette looks good.

Cheryl, although this can be done using Photoshop techniques, I used the Nik Color Efex Pro filter for this one.

Looks great Kerry! I like the colors and the blur vignette. I usually do split toning in Lightroom. I haven't had Nik very long but will try it.

Beautiful work. The original image is lovely, nicely composed. The tones you chose go well with this succulent.
