Shot taken near Sunset on the way back to Socorro, NM after shooting at the ABQ Zoo last December.
3 shots stitched together. It is a panorama shot, can only post the 800pixels on here. Taken with the 200-400 f/4 Zoom Lens.

Here is the link to show 1200 pixel: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3573/...62b0e9e4_b.jpg
Also converted to BW and still undecided on which version I like better.

    Exposure 0.004 sec (1/250)
    Aperture f/5.6
    Focal Length 200 mm
    ISO Speed 800

    Troy,

You can post 1024 wide here, 800 high. Nice looking pano of this sunset. Good idea limiting the FG mountain. I would attempt to lighten the left side some so as it draws the eye too much now.

Troy, Robert's suggestion was a good one. No distractions now in that wonderful fiery sky. Good job on the pano comp.

Hi Troy, the pano crop works well here. Just enough of the silhouetted base along with a dramatic sky. I feel the repost is an improvement!

    Hey Troy,
repost took it up another notch and the pano fits the scene well. I do wonder if you can pull out more detail in the sky/ Any depth you can pull out in it will only strengthen this further. New Mexico has some great sunsets!
