    Default Red shank

After a holliday I'm back in holland where this birds are temporarily living now. It is breeding season now and there are a lot of chicks now.
This one is pulling away from his chore for a brief moment.

Tack sharp, which has brought out excellent feather detail. The orange on the bill and legs, really adds to the image, and wish he had landed on a better perch. Not something we can control.

I really like the composition and nice clean bg.

    Pose is excellent.

As mentioned the perch is the downside.

It would be nice to see some of the chicks if possible.

    Hi Willem,

Very nice. Loved the colors, feather details and sharpness on the image. Just wishing a bit more of perch in the image.
