NICE shot, love the feather in the foreground as well.
Like the color and blend of the background as well. Maybe the small size of our posts, but the eye looks a "little too black". Like the spot of light but ....... can't seem to put it in words.

Gary, I like the colors and light you have going on here. It's a high key look with a color bonus. I would suggest toning down the brightest white portions of the bird - around the eye and some of the other plumage. Nice composition, head angle, and sharp eye with a very pleasant background. Good job on this one!

Kerry & Stan thank you for the C & C. Critiques are on the money. Subtle features make a big difference. I tried to address both critiques in the repost. I am not getting much change around the eye. Could this area be blowen out?

Very good low angle, a handsome pose given by the bird, but what really make this for me is the feather lying in front of the bird, really like it. I like what you did in the repose, maybe a tiny more sharpen. As for the eye area, did you shoot RAW? You might be able to recover it in RAW file.

Thanaboon thank you for the C & C. I did shoot in raw, but was unable to darken the eye area very much. I had more success sampling a darker area with the eye dropper and painting the eye area with a low opacity.
